Welcome to my website. My name is Lucia. I am a Counsellor and UKCP Registered Psychotherapist working in NW London, offering private psychotherapy and counselling to individuals and couples, I also offer supervision and mediation services.
I would describe my orientation to psychotherapy as existential. As an existential therapist my attitude is philosophical. This orientation to psychotherapy helps people to confront contradictions that they are often living with, but which stem from a lack of clear understanding of their expectations and how these relate to the possibilities available.
My relationship with my clients which is based on an open dialogue, which will enable them to better understand their own stance and the meanings they are attach to their lives.
Clients can freely explore their issues and in the process increase their awareness of how they relate to the world, others and themselves.
I avoid any kind of mystification whilst maintaining a highly professional and ethical stance.
I also offer supervision to individuals and small groups.
I am a senior lecturer and I train existential psychotherapists.
